Talisker 10 Distillers edition 2006-2016 double matured. Lo degustiamo e ve lo raccontiamo, 9 anni in ex bourbon fa poi un anno in ex sherry Amoroso. Questo whisky scozzese torbato, single malt scotch whisky, ci sorprende con una nota netta che mai avevamo percepito così decisa in altri whisky. Imbottigliato ai consueti 45,8% di Talisker.

Puni sole, whisky italiano Double barrel, ex sherry PX. Anche questo Puni, per il disciplinare scozzese sarebbe un “single grain” italian whisky. Il Puni Sole fa 4 anni di invecchiamento nei vecchi bunker della prima guerra mondiale che Puni usa come magazzini.
Bushmills Black Bush Irish whiskey Tripled distilled 40%
Il Bushmills Black Bush è un blended irish whiskey, invecchiato in ex sherry casks ed ex bourbon. Ottimo per iniziare a capire i whisky che fanno finishing o double barrel in botti ex sherry. Questo blended whiskey irlandese si trova facilmente al supermercato.

Smokehead? Ecco la versione Sherry Bomb (ex sherry oloroso) di questo imbottigliatore privato (IB), Ian Macleod. Un whisky scozzese “opulento”, pieno e travolgente. Torba e sherry? Se vi piacciono, questo è il vostro whisky scozzese torbato. Da provare!
